DELTAFIX™ POUR-ON FOR CATTLE

Deltafix Pour-On for Cattle is the quick fix for nuisance flies and lice. Containing the highly effective active ingredient, deltamethrin, in a water based formulation, Pastoral Ag Deltafix is a quick and easy-to-use solution to fly and lice problems.

Active Constituent: 15 g/L Deltamethrin

Applicator: Young stock: Pastoral Ag 30ml Variable Applicator – Pour-On Nozzle

Stock over 300kg: 65ml Pour-On Applicator

Withholding Periods: 

  • Meat: 0 days
  • Milk: 0 days.
  • ESI: 21 days. 

Storage: Store below 30°C (room temperature) in original container, tighly closed in a safe place.

Dosing & Administration

CATTLE: 5 mL per 100 kg liveweight.

Pests controlled: Cattle Lice (Bovicola bovis, Lignognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus) & Buffalo Fly (Haematobia irritans exigua), Stable Fly (Stomoxys calcitrans), House Fly (Musca domestica), Biting Midge (Culicoides sp.).

CRITICAL COMMENTS: Apply to animals in a race or drainage pen as a single stripe along the backline. Retreat later in the season if reinfestation occurs.Apply to the whole herd – retreatment may be necessary.

For horses over 600 kg apply 5 mL per 100 kg liveweight.

CRITICAL COMMENTS: Using the correct measured dose, apply to horses as two single stripes. Apply approximately 2/3 of measured dose to the midline mane area (from poll to wither) and remaining 1/3 to midline over the rump.

When applying product keep away from head forward of the ears. If product is accidentally splashed into horse’s eyes, the eyes should be washed thoroughly as soon as possible, using plenty of water. Contact a veterinary surgeon for advice. Apply to the whole herd – retreatment may be necessary.
